We are loving August, in fact we are loving this summer.  I think when we are a bit greyer and a bit older we will hold 2018 up there as one of the great summers; that seemed to last forever with humid days and warm evenings.
August Camping
Golly Gosh where is this season going?  After the storms of 2017 we seem to have been blessed with a summer we will be talking about in years to come. It a nutshell it has made the summer go in a blur more so than ever before.
Summer 2018
As we celebrate the longest day today, and the rumor of a huge heat wave next week we are so looking forward to this summer and the utterly fantastic people we have coming to serve you food and drinks throughout the week.

It is back!  This Sunday sees the return of the much anticipated fourth series of Poldark.  The highly acclaimed drama is shot across Cornwall; we may have even spent a few long lunches trying to spy Ross Poldark when they were last in Charlestown!

Wowser – Bank Holiday no. 2 was yet another scorcher – what a weekend.  Bethany and I had a night here in ‘Calamity the Campervan’ on the Friday and I must say, even though we are here everyday it was lush.

This weekend we welcome a much longed for Bank Holiday and it might, just maybe, even be sunny!  We are excited as our family and friends come to stay for the weekend, and many guests arrive at Little Winnick – the fridge is full and the drinks are already on ice so what does a good bank holiday mean for you?

Hi-de-hi Campers – the 2018 season is well and truly underway and we are very pleased to be welcoming new and returning guests back to our little slice of heaven.  Now to be fair, it didn’t look that heavenly over Easter – the wild, wet weather left us battered and bruised.
Pentewan Trail
We ambitiously (some I suspect thought foolishly) planned an adventure with our three young daughters to France; a weeks stay in Village Nature – the French version of Center Parcs with a day trip to Disney.  Followed by a train adventure across France to Geneva to stay with friends.

Finally on a late November’s evening I sit poised to pen the 2017 review.  I was just sat upstairs in the nursery with our youngest feeding her before bed mulling over this year and I have a funny feeling when we are grey(er) and old(er) we will look back and think of 2017 up there as one of our best seasons and I got a little emotional.
