With Father’s Day just around the corner and my Dad coming to stay for not only Father’s Day but also his birthday (that’s going to cost me!) I have been thinking a lot about Dad’s. Richard and I are lucky to both have amazing Dad’s; both of whom in their own unique ways have helped us get to where we are and become who we are…
Every evening on my to-do list has been a blog since the last one…but by the time everyone is fed, watered blah blah blah I am almost asleep. This morning I have the luxury of sitting at the computer whilst Richard takes our younger two children down the trail which runs right outside Little Winnick so I can race through my to do list!
Today Richard and I ate the nicest burger we have had in a very long time. It was the bite size and free, but it was delicious. You see today I have been at one of the highlights of my working year – the ExpoWest – where all the best food producers and suppliers come together under one roof to showcase what Cornwall has to offer…

Apologies I have not blogged for a few weeks we have been busy having a baby! As excuses go I think that is quite a good one. Our newest family member, Anna Poppy Clemo, was born on Tuesday 10th January, weighing in a 9lb 40z…
We love children here at Little Winnick – we have two of our own who certainly keep us on our toes. We have had a wonderful Christmas all together and have been on come adventures…
Happy Festive time to you all. If you are anything like us you will be full to the bream right now. I made a Christmas cake and I am the only one who eats it in this house so each day I have to have my one slice. It might be available to guests checking in come April at this rate!
I think when you have children you get a whole new perspective of time; everything flashes past at break neck speed, yet sometimes a day can feel like a lifetime. This is also true of running a camp site – and in many ways it is your baby, watching it grow into its full potential.
